Bacchas beat Vikings to gain title advantage

Hockey results for Saturday, 12 October

Bacchas A moved three points clear at the top of the Rossborough Mixed Premier League as they beat fierce rivals Vikings A 3-2.

Two goals from Andy Whiting and a Johnny Callow effort was enough for the Cronkbourne side to make it four consecutive wins for the league leaders.

Dani Coombes and Kim Carney were the Vikings goalscorers, as the reigning champions slipped to their second succcessive defeat.

At the other end of the table, Ramsey A won 6-2 over basement side Castletown Celts, while Valkyrs A and Vikings B played out a 2-2 draw.
