
15 year-old Manx swimmer Charlotte Atkinson has achieved another two Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games consideration time.
She was competing for the Isle of Man Swim Club at the North West Championships at Manchester last weekend.
In the 15/16 Girls 400m Freestyle Final, Charlotte took gold in a time of 4 minutes 27.54 seconds which is a personal best by seven seconds.
It's also a new Senior and Junior Island record beating the 4 minutes 31.06 seconds set by Olivia Rawlinson in 2007 and is 2.5 seconds inside the Commonwealth target.
Charlotte also achieved a consideration time in the 800m Freestyle and has previously done the same in the 200m distance.
The Cavendish Scholarship and Sport Aid recipient now holds an astonishing 51 Manx swimming individual records.
And fellow Cav Scholar and swimmer Laura Kinley has now achieved Commonwealth Games consideration times in three events - 50m, 100m and 200m Breastroke.
