Achievements set bar high for Manx swimmers
Manx swimmer Charlotte Atkinson is now a double British Swimming Champion, after winning the 200 metre Butterfly Final at Sheffield last night in superb style.
She set a new Manx record of 02:09.92 seconds to be fastest in qualifying, and smashed that time in the final to stop the clock at 02:07.06.
The time is within the standard required to represent Team GB at the World Championships in Budapest in late July.
Charlotte won her first British title on Wednesday in the 50 metre Butterfly.
Isle of Man Swimming coach Lee Holland believes her achievements will motivate the rest of the swimmers on the Island.
