Christa Cain's record beaten by extremely narrow margin
Isle of Man athlete Sarah Astin has set a new Manx record for the women's marathon.
Competing in Seville, Sarah ran a time of 2 hours, 35 minutes and 16 seconds in her debut in the event.
It's just 15 seconds faster than Christa Cain's time set in Chicago last year (October 2025).
The Manx runner finished 17th in the event overall.
