Manx competitor named in half-marathon squad
Manx long-distance runner Ollie Lockley will represent England during the nation's latest series of competitions in August.
England Athletics has confirmed its line-ups for three events being held next month - the Masters 5km match vs Wales; Antrim Coast Elite Mile & Half Marathon and the Adidas Home Nations 5k.
Lockley - who competes for Leeds City currently - is part of the six-strong squad to contest the Antrim Coast Half Marathon on 27 August.
Lockley has earned selection following his victory in the Reading Half Marathon in April in a time of 64 minutes 35 seconds.
Later that month he also managed a third-place finish in the Manchester Marathon.
He'd also been due to compete for the Isle of Man in the half marathon contest at this year's Island Games in Guernsey earlier this month but had to withdraw at late notice due to injury.
