Race walker part of championships held at NSC at the weekend
A strong on-Island performance this weekend has seen Manx race walker Erika Kelly rise to the top of the UK 10km race walk rankings for 2023 so far.
As part of the IoM 20km race walking championships at the NSC on Saturday (2 September) Kelly took part in the 10km supporting race walk and completed it in a time of 48 minutes 24 seconds.
That time puts Kelly top of the UK race walking standings over that distance so far this year by around three minutes.
Taking to social media afterwards, Kelly says she's feeling 'all sorts of happy' after her performance and that it was her fastest walk over that distance since 2019.
