Success for Manx Harriers competitors in London
Three Island athletes have come away with multiple medals from the latest British Masters Indoor Championships at Lee Valley in London.
A Manx Harriers trio Ewelina Hand, Sarah Halligan and Daniel Stewart-Clague claimed five medals between them during the meeting held
Hand claimed gold in the age 40 group for the women's high jump with a leap of 10.05m and also bagged bronze in the women's long jump for the age group, managing a distance of 4.51 metres.
Elsewhere, there was bronze in the women's 40 age group for Halligan in the 400 metres where she clocked 66.88 seconds.
Meanwhile, Stewart-Clague came away from the meeting with double success in the Men's 35 age group.
He claimed silver in the 60 metres with a time of 7.21 seconds whilst his time of 23.07 seconds in the 200 metres was enough for bronze.
