ATHLETICS: Historical eighth senior IOM Cross Country title for Rachel Franklin

Alan Corlett takes men's title 

Power couple Rachel Franklin and Alan Corlett have claimed the two top spots in the 2024 Law Trust IOM Cross-Country.

Taking place at The Horse's Home at the weekend, the cold weather didn't deter the pair, each of them dominated their races.

It's Alan's sixth title, putting him in second place on the all-time men's list, just one behind Dave Newton.

And it's a whopping eighth senior women's title for Rachael, making her the first senior athlete known to have won eight titles.
