Two manage sub-three hours in the USA
Four Isle of Man athletes have completed this year's Boston Marathon in the USA.
Paul Atherton, Dawn Atherton, Matt Callister and Clive Dugdale successfully complete the event yesterday (21 April) with two of those achieving sub-three hour times.
Quickest of the Island quartet was Paul Atherton who managed to cross the line in two hours, 35 minutes and 47 seconds to finish inside the top 500 in 484th position overall.
Also managing under three hours was Callister only a few minutes further back in two hours, 53 minutes and 44 seconds.
Elsewhere, Dawn Atherton's time of three hours, eight minutes and 18 seconds meant she finished in a lofty 79th in the Women's 40-44 category.
Meanwhile - participating in the Men's 55-59 class - Dugdale was also successful in reaching the race's conclusion as he clocked a time of four hours, 19 minutes and 59 seconds.
Last year there were two Island competitors flying the flag at the meeting in Christa Cain and Simon Scott.
