There was no change in East Douglas, where Chris Robertshaw (pictured) and Brenda Cannell successfully defended their seats, beating off challenges from four other candidates.
Mr Robertshaw, who claimed the seat at a by-election last year, topped the poll, but there was a low turnout, of just over 40 per cent.
The votes polled for the six candidates were Chris Robertshaw, 915; Brenda Cannell, 757; Paul Moulton, 490; Geraldine O'Neill, 441; Richard Kissack, 238; and John Karran, 123.
