Another Pronto Rose Bowl success for Norman

In squash, Dave Norman has won the Dave Karren Memorial Pronto Rose Bowl for the third time in five years in a repeat of last year’s Island Open final.

On that occasion his opponent, Malcolm Levy, lost out 3-1 having run out of steam towards the end.

Over the close season Norman had done a better job of maintaining his fitness levels and ran out straight sets winner this time around.

The competition, sponsored by Manx Telecom, was in memory of keen squash player and MT employee Dave Karren and attracted a full entry of 32 players.
