A rider who was involved in a crash at this year's Classic TT has given an update on his recovery.
Andy Whale was involved in an incident at Glen Helen on the opening lap of the Lightweight TT Race on Monday, 25 August.
In a post on social media, Whale says the main injury was fractured C1 and C2 vertebrae in the neck which is now 'stable', adding 'other than that, it was just bruises and concussion.'
Furthermore, Whale is thanking people who've reached out to him to wish him well and that he had the 'right gear on to help minimise the damage,'
