Local businessman Andrew Hall is back on the Island, and collecting his sponsorship money, after successfully completing the 'Atlantic Ocean' section of the 2008 'Round the World Clipper Venture'.
Andrew boarded the vessel Jamaica, on the island with the same name, as one of 17 crew members on May 24.
The boat and nine others in the event then sailed north for New York and Nova Scotia, before heading East for Cork in South Ireland, where they arrived on July 1.
Andrew is hoping raise £2,000 which will be divided between the RNLI and Sailing for the Disabled.
You can contact him at Hall's Marine Supplies on East Quay, Peel, where he plans to put up a display of his photographs from the trip.
