
Simon Skillicorn secured the 2007 Winter Hill League title for a fourth consecutive year with victory at St John's on Saturday.
He posted the only sub-19 minute time on the demanding Slieau Whallian course, finishing ahead of Paul Sheard, who was second, and Gianni Epifani, Skillicorn's nearest rival for the league title, who was third.
In her first outing on the course Cal Partington was the first lady home, in a time of 23.23.
She finished just over two minutes ahead of junior runner Rachael Franklin, who produced a strong finish to come home 14 seconds ahead of Bridget Kaneen.
