A general election candidate is seriously concerned about the sums of money being spent by the Manx government on capital schemes.
John Hanson, who is contesting the single seat in Malew and Santon, says all major capital expenditure needs to be reviewed, once the new administration comes in, after September 29.
He told John Moss that, in the present difficult economic climate, consideration should be given to putting all such schemes on hold (listen to audio file below):
John Hanson is one of three people who have declared in Malew and Santon so far, the others being sitting member Graham Cregeen and Gareth Kelly.
