A record entry of 1700 mountain bikers will tackle the Sleepwell Hotels 'End 2 End' race this weekend.
The event is organised by the Manx Mountain Bike Club, and is now in its 15th year.
The route, from the Point of Ayre to Cregneash, is just under 50 miles long and includes around 1500 metres of climbing.
