Semi-final defeat means there will be no gold for the women's football team in this year's Island Games.

They suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Aland.

Ceri Pervis had given the Isle of Man a first half advantage as the girls tried to record their first ever win over Aland.

The girls now have eyes on the bronze in a re-match against Gotland.
