A Liberal Vannin candidate in the forthcoming House of Keys general election has resigned his candidacy.
Adrian Tinkler had been intending to contest the three-seat constituency of Rushen.
A statement from the party cites various personal issues as the reason for his withdrawal.
Party leader Peter Karran MHK says he is very sorry Mr Tinkler is unable to continue, describing him as 'a very credible candidate'.
He hopes Mr Tinkler is able to quickly resolve his problems.
Mr Tinkler's withdrawal has reduced the present field in Rushen to four, namely sitting members Phil Gawne, Quintin Gill and Juan Watterson, and Laurence Skelly.
