Three days of racing at Billown later this month
Organisers of the Pre-TT Classic Road Races have confirmed the schedule for this year's event taking place in a few weeks time.
The 2025 meeting on the Billown Course will take place for three consecutive days between Friday, 23 May and Sunday, 25 May.
The first day (24 May) will be reserved for an evening qualifying session whilst the day after (25 May) will be a double-header featuring afternoon qualifying before the first racing session in the evening.
Sunday 26 May will then be solely dedicated to the remaining races before the final prize presentations in Castletown Square at around 7.30pm.
All timings on the schedule remain subject to change depending on prevailing conditions and circumstances.
Day One
On Friday, 23 May roads around the Billown Course are due to close at 6pm before proceedings begin with the newcomers familiarisation lap at 6.15pm.
Then between 6.26pm and 9.20pm all solo classes as well as the sidecar class are scheduled to get qualifying slots.
Roads are then due to reopen no later than 9.40pm
Day Two
A double-header of both qualifying and racing is then planned for Saturday, 24 May.
The first closure of the Billown Course that day is scheduled from 12.30pm until no later than 4.30pm to allow further qualifying sessions to take place for all solo and sidecar categories.
Highways around the circuit will then briefly re-open before shutting again at 6pm with the first four races to then be held in the evening - roads will then open again no later than 9pm.
Day Three
Sunday afternoon on 25 May will see the remaining races run with roads around the Billown Course closing at 1pm.
On the agenda will be six more racing showdowns before the action concludes and roads reopen no later than 6pm.
This will then be followed by the prize presentations in Castletown Square at 7.30pm.
