Johnston says he's been advised on situation by ACU
Insurance has been secured for all road racing events on the Isle of Man in 2024.
That's according to Minister for Enterprise, Tim Johnston in a written Tynwald answer following a question on the matter from Douglas North MHK, John Wannenburgh.
Mr Johnston says he's been advised the Auto Cycle Union (ACU) has attained cover 'on the same basis as previous years' for this year's Isle of Man TT Races and Manx Grand Prix as well as Southern 100 meetings on the Billown Course.
When asked for how many years such cover is in place for, the minister adds insurance is 'secured annually' and the policy for 2025 events is due to be put in place before the end of November this year.
