Coastguard and police intervene
Three young people have been reprimanded after taking a boat for a joyride.
A small vessel was seen off the coast of Peel late last night with no lights on.
The manner of sailing was said to have 'caused concern' to the Coastguard and local police, and the crew were not wearing lifejackets.
Officers were waiting at the harbour when the boat came back in, and crews helped to tie it up.
The youngsters were not prosecuted, but were given a talking to about sea safety.
