Busy Sunday for Douglas coastguard
It was a busy day for Douglas Coastguard yesterday.
Having helped paramedics get a patient to an ambulance at lunchtime, they were then called to an emergency at Port Jack cliffs in the early evening.
A youth was clinging to the newly coated cliff face and Police had managed to throw a line down by the time the coastguard arrived.
A coastguard member was then able to secure the youth to a rope and then both were hauled back up to safety.
