A biennial competition showcasing some of the Island’s leading young musicians may have to be cancelled.
Qualifying for the Young Musician of Mann was due to start at the Erin Arts Centre last Sunday with musicians then whittled down to eight for a final later in the year.
However, organiser Dr John Bethell says a lack of entries means the event could be cancelled for the first time in its history.
