Matthew Richardson is guest of honour at 2025 Isle of Man Sports Awards
Some of the Island's promising young athletes got the chance to meet with record-breaking track cyclist Matthew Richardson last night.
Ahead of his guest of honour appearance at the 2025 Isle of Man Sports Awards tonight (26 February) Matt met with the youngsters for an informal Q&A at the NSC.

"I actually watched his documentary on the way over here."
Matt told Manx Radio how it felt to be on Mark Cavendish's home turf, and what it's like training and competing alongside the Isle of Man's Matthew Bostock:

Following the Q&A session, Matt attended an Indoor Training Session with the IOM Youth Cycling Squad at Braaid Hall, the session led by Isle of Man cycling legend Dot Tilbury.
2025 Isle of Man Sports Awards
Tonight's awards ceremony will take place at the Villa Marina in Douglas from 7:30pm, featuring the coveted Sportsman and Sportswoman awards, alongside 10 other prizes up for grabs.
