Storm Bella brings severe gales
Ronaldsway Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning about today’s gale force winds.
Storm Bella, which has caused flooding in the UK, will bring gale to severe gale force southwest winds.
The warning runs from 5pm until 1am and says gusts of 60 to 70 mph is likely to bring down trees across the Island.
Forecasters also say tonight’s high tide 9.10 pm will see waves wash over Shore Road in Gansey, Castletown Promenade, northern and central parts of Douglas Promenade and Laxey Promenade.
