Numerous coastal areas expected to be affected
A yellow weather warning has been issued for coastal overtopping around the Isle of Man this morning (1 January).
The notice from Ronaldsway Met Office will come into force at 8am and run until at least Noon (12pm).
Shore Road in Rushen, Castletown Promenade, central and northern sections of Douglas Promenade as well as Laxey Promenade are the most likely to be affected.
Forecasters say strong winds along with high tide at around 10am could lead to slight splash over of waves and small debris.
