Yellow weather warning issued ahead of more heavy rain

Forecasters also waring of gale force winds

A yellow weather warning will come into force later with more heavy rain expected to hit the Island.

The alert will come into force at 5pm until 3am tomorrow with 10-20mm of rain expected, with 25-30mm in some areas.

Ronaldsway Met Office says conditions will lead to further surface water flooding in prone places, particularly where ground is already saturated from the rainfall earlier this week.

Gale force winds with gusts of 45-55mph are also expected, giving a risk of minor damage.
