Coastal overtopping predicted at high tide
High winds could cause 'significant waves' and coastal overtopping today.
A yellow weather warning is in place on the Isle of Man with adverse weather expected between 10am and 2pm.
Strong southwest winds around lunchtime are expected to cause debris to be washed onto exposed roads and promenades.
High tide is at 11.54am.
Areas likely to be affected include Shore Road in Rushen, Castletown Promenade and, to a lesser degree, the northern end of Douglas Promenade and Laxey Promenade.
