Will come into force this afternoon
There'll be a yellow weather warning in place later today (Sunday) for heavy rain across the Island.
It will come into force at 3pm and remain in place until 3am Monday (28 October).
Forecasters at Ronaldsway Met Office say the area of rain will spread from the west later this afternoon, becoming persistent and heavy at times.
We're being warned to expect rainfall accumulations of 15-20mm quite widely across the island, but with 20-40mm possible over higher ground.
It will create some difficult driving conditions and the risk of some localised flooding, particularly where drains become blocked by fallen leaves.
The rain will turn lighter and patchier tonight.
