A yellow weather warning's in place for gale force winds this evening.
A number of Steam Packet sailings scheduled for today have already been cancelled.
The only journey that remains uncertain is the Manxman's trip to Heysham at 8pm - a decision on the sailing to expected at 5pm today.

Forecasters at the Met Office in Ronaldsway have issued the Island wide warning from 5pm until 10pm.
