In place until 3pm
A yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping is in place until 3pm (Sunday 28 January).
Strong southerly winds and spring tides are likely to mean waves and debris could hit exposed coasts and promenades.
High tide is at 1pm, and the areas thought to be most affected are Shore Road in Gansey and Castletown, Douglas and Laxey proms.
A yellow classification means ‘be aware’ - as there is a risk of bad weather affecting activities, causing travel delays, and causing minor damage.
