Persistent downpours expected later
A yellow weather warning for heavy rain is in place for tonight (1 January) and into the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Ronaldsway Met Office says rain will become persistent and quite heavy from about 4pm or 5pm, before clearing overnight.
It says there's a slight risk of the rain causing some localised flooding, mainly due to the saturated nature of the ground at present.
