Strong south-southwest winds and high tide may cause minor flooding

The Ronaldsway Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping.

Areas affected include Shore Road in Rushen, Castletown Promenade, the central and northern end of Douglas Promenade, and to a lesser extent, Laxey and Ramsey Promenades.

The warning is in force from 8am until midday. (4 November)

Fresh to strong south-southwest winds, coinciding with high tide at around 9.55am, may cause minor wave overtopping and debris in exposed areas.
