BHS head says no need for pupils to gather to say farewell
Head Teacher Adrienne Burnett says Year 11 pupils at Ballakermeen High school won't be able to say farewell to one another at the end of term.
Earlier this week, a number of students began a campaign to enable them to have a final day together after they were told to begin study leave early due to staff absences.
They've been offered a twenty-minute session next Monday morning to meet and sign each other shirts.
Ms Burnett says there's no need for them to gather on their last day at school:
