The Isle of Man experienced anything but a white Christmas this year.
After the freezing conditions twelve months ago, the Meteorological Office at Ronaldsway says Christmas Day 2011 was the warmest ever recorded.
During the day, temperatures rose above 12 degrees Celsius, or 54 fahrenheit.
Forecaster Colin Gartshaw says that made it a new record:
Smile of Mann programme to start in primary schools next year
Loganair passengers yet to be reunited with bags left in Manchester on Sunday
Kirk Michael man taking on 31 marathons in 31 days in memory of friend
Government grant partially funded fishing vessel later used for smuggling
