The names of new constituencies on the Island IS important and should be as traditional as possible.
That's the belief of Manx cultural historian and presenter of Manx Radio's Moghrey Jedoonee programme, Dr Brian Stowell.
Earlier this year, Tynwald accepted the recommendations of the independent Boundary Review Committee to create 12 two-seat constituencies.
But the names of the new Keys seats are still to be agreed as the committee has just given them working titles and the public is now being asked for their ideas.
Speaking on Manx Radio earlier today, Dr Stowell says he believes the names ARE important but giving them Manx titles may be a step too far.
