Job losses among the Island's teachers are making staff nervous, according to the Association of Teachers and Lecturers.
In the House of Keys this week, Education Minister Eddie Teare said teacher numbers had fallen by four per cent, from 881 to 846.
He said by cutting back on supply teachers, a number of full-time jobs had been saved.
But Andrew Shipley, from the local branch of the ATL says the cuts are starting to affect the profession:
