More universities could charge Island students higher international fees.
Finance Director for the Department of Education and Children Ashley Halsall says one such institution is Imperial College – a Manx medical student would face a total bill of £200,000 by the end of their course.
Mr Halsall says the department would only pay a certain amount – with the student paying the difference.
Speaking on Manx Radio yesterday he admitted people are worried other universities may charge international fees for Island students.
