


A unique coin has been produced by the Manx Goverment to comemorate the Tutankhamun exhibition at London's O2 Arena.
It's shaped like a pyramid, with the young pharaoh's coffinette on one side, and Her Majesty the Queen on the other.
Political member of the Manx Treasury Alex Downie, says there are a number of connections between the Isle of Man and Tutankhamun.
A great nephew of Howard Carter, who discovered the treasure, lives on the Island, and there are links with Celtic symbols (audio file attached):
