Restrictions in Greeba area for surface treatment
Traffic restrictions will be in place on a section of the Douglas to Peel main road during the day today (15 September).
Surface treatment will be carried out on the A1 between Ravensdale, Main Road, Greeba and Greeba Castle.
Work will start after 9am and be finished no later than 4pm.
The Department of Infrastructure says one lane will be treated at a time.
As a result, stop and go boards will be used to get traffic through the area.
Highway Services says the product being applied to the roads is called 'Ralumac'.
Officials claim it's cost effective, durable, quick to apply and has less of an impact on the environment.
