BBC FoI journalist offers opinion on Manx act
The Island's Freedom of Information Act will ensure greater transparency in the work of government - but the Manx public should be realistic about how much data can be produced.

Last week a timetable was published for the landmark act to start in the Isle of Man.
From next February, residents will have a legal right to gain information from public bodies, although initially only from the Cabinet Office and a single government department.
Ms Ellis says it's a welcome step forward, but those asking the questions should be aware of the work involved answering them:
