Chief executive says 'victim-focused' strategy launched last month
A Victim Charter could be developed by the end of the year, according to the chief executive of Victim Support Isle of Man.
Lorna Trevethan says the organisation launched a new victim-focused strategy at a conference last month, with the aim of making victims the heart of the judicial system.
She added that implementing these changes would make 'some tangible difference' and minimise re-traumatising victims and witnesses.
