DOI asks Steam Packet to reschedule sailings due to crane unavailability
Work to upgrade the mooring at the Isle of Man Ferry Terminal in Liverpool has been postponed.
The Department of Infrastructure has confirmed the project, which requires a heavy-lifting crane barge, has been delayed due to adverse weather, and no alternative barge being available.
The berth will remain closed until the fenders are removed and reinstated.
As a result, the Steam Packet will reschedule sailings on 15th and 16th November, operating to and from Heysham instead.
