It follows the announcement that Douglas has been awarded city status
Work to improve Douglas 'needs to go further' than just spending money on it, according to an Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK.
As part of the Queen's Jubilee Celebrations, Douglas has been given city status.
Residents have since reacted, claiming the now city is untidy and poorly kept.
