Work on thriller to start soon

Work will start shortly on the latest film to be shot in the Isle of Man.

It's a thriller called Heartless, which will be made in the Island and London. .

Timothy Spall is the most recognisable face in the Philip Ridley production, alongside Jim Sturgess and Clémence Poésy, who was in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

It's from an original screenplay by Ridley and centres on a young man who is tricked into a deal with a demon and then fights to save his soul.

Framestore-CFC, who recently won an OSCAR and a BAFTA for their VFX in The Golden Compass, will design the mythical creatures that appear in the movie.
