Contingencies in place for when poor weather affects work
Steam Packet sailings will be unaffected by works to upgrade the King Edward VIII Pier in Douglas Harbour.
That's according to the Director of Harbours as the scheme gets underway this weekend (Saturday).
The project will see alterations made to accommodate for the Steam Packet's new vessel, Manxman.
It's hoped the work can take place between scheduled sailings, something David Gooberman says has been carefully considered:
