An £8 million kitty for funding improvements to the Island's towns and villages is now in place, and work on the ground will be getting underway soon.
The Town and Village Restoration Fund was approved as part of this year's government budget .
Now the task is to decide how and where to spend the money, for maximum results.
Treasury Minister Allan Bell (pictured) says the Island's capital is in his sights to begin the project:
