The stories behind major events in the Island's maritime history could be told in a brand new setting.
The Douglas Development Partnership is looking to convert the old swing bridge tower on the south quay into a visitor centre.
Development manager for the partnership Chris Pycroft hopes the project can be progressed, but says there are two major obstacles to overcome:
