Dependability investigator has confidence in govt
The author of a document on work capability assessments believes previous failings could create improvements in the system.
The independent report, commissioned last year, found the tests to be oversimplified and, in some cases, unsuitable.
Dependability Ltd, which carried out the assessments, had its contract with government terminated in July last year - when it emerged its staff were underqualified.
A Social Affairs Policy Review Committee on the saga heard evidence from a number of people this week, including report author John Lancaster.
