Beer Festival boosting sector's image says MHK
Garff MHK Martyn Perkins says the Isle of Man is going 'from strength to strength' in the homegrown food and drink sector.
Government's Food Matters strategy was launched in 2015, and aims to grow the value of the sector by £50 million in ten years' time.
Thousands are expected to attend the sixth Isle of Man Beer and Cider Festival at the Villa Marina in Douglas this weekend.
Many of them have traveled over to the Island specifically for the event.
Mr Perkins, who is also a member of the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture, was there - he told Manx Radio the word is spreading about Island produce:

Thirteen people entered or tried to enter the Island without immigration permission since January 2025
